Can I use a plumbed fridge freezer while not plumbed?

Bought American fridge freezer but until I get around to plumbing it in can I use it or will it cause problems with water despenser.

As far as I can think, the only problem will be no water to the ice dispenser = no ice. You may get error messages, but I believe that is about all.
