Alternatively, go to a computer shop with a solid proof that you are the legitimate owner and ask for a password removal.
A proof can be the sale receipt, a list of personnal file stored in some specific location or something similar.
Obviously, they'll charge you for that.
By the way, this is a case where the brand and model have no importence at all.
