Beko tumble dryer DRCS68 pipe to water tank?

hello - just got a second-hand Beko tumble dryer DRCS 68 W and had washing drying in it for over half an hour ... should any water be in the water tank yet only its totally dry! - i pulled out the pipes and water dribbled out of them (not at force, just a dribble) so is it pump fault? - I would imagine if its pumped out it would come out at a bit of force rather than a dribble shouldnt it? - Ive never had a condenser dryer like this one so im not sure how these ones work but I would have thought some water would have collected in tank after 30 minutes?

also it reverses but why so short amount of time on reverse (drum anti-clockwise) as opposed to forward drum action (clockwise) I would have thought it would have reversed the same amount of time as it went forward to untangle clothes and make them dry quicker no?

Thanks for any help/advice.
