good luck finding parts. banner laminating went out of business twice.
I miss them they sent me tons of customers, we worked well together. i was their service dealer for the entire tri state pittsburgh area.
I had called repeatedly trying to order parts. one day a fellow answered, i told him what i needed, he said sorry were out of that item. so when will it be in? long pause..... never we close friday. 150 jobs lost..... this was wednesday. i found out later he was one of just 4 workers remaining to shut it down. but he reported a VP of banner was going to buy it, and that fellow did and tried rebuilding the operation. sadly not long after he had a massive heart attack, the company closed again.
it was sold again. but no one has done anything with banner legacy machines. no parts, tech help , or anything is available.
the banner shcool budget machines got bought by a company called circle. they wouldnt even talk about the banner units, and are honestly very unfriendly.... i asked about a banner unit 40 inches wide, thats really a circle. they said no parts available and hung up on me. thats just plain rude.
if anyone is looking to buy a new laminator, avoid the TCC machines, avoid gbc machines because parts cost megabucks, and so does service. heat rolls 640 bucks each, main board near 900 bucks, first hour service rate is 317 dollars.
the USI machines are working well and priced right, and come with free lifetime phone tech support.
I have been repairing laminators since 1975, its my own business around pittsburgh. call me if you have any questions.phone tech support is always free 412 366 4906
