Pump block?

All my machine keeps saying is pump block. I clean out the trap on the front put it back together it went through the wash cycle and stopped. I cleaned out the trap again and tried the rinse and spin it rinsed then stopped. I took the back off and there was a broken wire I fixed it tries again and it still stops any suggestions or advice on my next step??

the trap is not the pump. its on the way to the pump ok. if you look at the bottom of the drum you will see a tube coming from it follow that tube, its first stop is the pump, the tube is clipped on to the pump.unclip it and see whats blocking it, all this work done with POWER AND WATER OFF, and the machine on its side,
