how can i fix?

I have a 2003 ford transit ( trans350LTD ) EHIGH4D.
serious Lack of power on hills.
Knocking sound in injector area.
checked fuel filter.
Does anyone else have this problem and how can I fix it.

Remove inlet to turbo and check for play in impeller,try removing fan belt and see your knocking disappears

Lack of power on hills is a pretty sure indicator of a worn out clutch.

I am not able to comment on the knocking sound you mention.
