My 2014 Renault Scenic has just returned from a main dealer, after having suffered the water ingress problem. I was informed that the problem had been resolved by unblocking the bulkhead drains and that the carpets and under floor insulation had been removed and dried. I checked the under floor insulation with a small rod and found that it was still saturated. When asked to explain, the response was pure bluster and hot air and the insulation would have to dry out naturally. Later, I had a look under the rear passenger floor and found no insulation at all. Does anyone know if there should be any insulation in this area before I return to the garage with another complaint?
