I have a Victor 2 stroke Push Mower?

I have a victor two stroke push mover and i am not able to start it. When ever i pull the string, it quickly snap pulls it in. I feel it also stops the mower from starting. Acts something like break of stops the piston fully rotating,. Makes a slight noise. In the mean time i opened the string starter unit, and greased, makes sure that the forks move in and out as suppose to make the piston spin to start. But dont see any reason as to why it could create a reverse friction. The fork design dont looks likes it should create reverse friction.

sounds to me that possibly ur flywheel key is sheared and will need replacing as this knocks engine of timing and will cause kick back.
