I have a 54 plate vauxhall zafira desire 1.8 auto does anyone know why my key fob will only open the doors but not lock them it locked with key but not by pressing the button on key fob any ideas?????

Often on modern motors the best way for a diagnosis is to get the motor onto the correct computer which can operate all electrical functions and test if all is well with wiring etc from your ECU's to your motors etc,it may be a faulty key but is difficult to determine any fault nowadays without the correct equipment but if you just guess it can end up costing a lot of money,good luck
