Samsung dishwasher DW80F600 Series; when I push the power button, all the lights come on then go off, except the Smart Auto and the Normal, Those two lights keep flashing and ding several times, then nothing happens. lights keep flashing. I have tried resetting the dishwasher several times by turning off the power at the fuse box. But to no avail. Please tell me how I may fix this.

It could be that the water inlet solenoid valve is defective - not unusual - and easy to change. OR

It could be the machine's control board.

Someone will need to decide which - the inlet valve is the easy and cheaper option - either you or an engineer.

Thank you, but that is the problem, it wont start. It is stuck with those two lights flashing. It will not respond to any buttons.

Nothing much happens in a dishwasher until some water gets in - then the water gets pumped around for a bit - then it gets heated etc.

When you open the door is there any water inside?

It could be that the water inlet solenoid valve is defective - not unusual - and easy to change.
