If you own a French car you need to look at the forums for your car
You will see all of the problems other owners are having and the fixes, also go onto YouTube just put your problem in and you can see how to fix it ,Google your problems ,just don't go to the DEALERS they will rip you off !

Surprised you didn't find them when you searched (You did, didn't you?)

Seems often cured by a good thrash: take it up the nearest motorway at 80mph in 4th gear for a good 20 miles each way - that should clear all the gunk out and make the engine breathe a lot more easily.

Check the dedicted Peugeot motoring forums, rather than this general purpose one (and learn how to do a Google search)
