How can I fix the minute minder on my Cannon Carrick cooker?

The minute minder on my cooker has stopped sounding the tone when the time is up, I can set the time and it does count down but no beeping tone sounds to let me know the time is up.

I live in foreign climbes and we suffer from frequent power cuts so it doesn't get fixed by powering off and on, I don't mind having a look at it myself as I do many repair jobs around the house myself but I don't know what to do with it, I know how to get the front panel off.

Not much you can do to fix a timer (unless you are into electronics and not afraid to climb in). You COULD just try turning off the power to the stove for a few seconds, reset the clock and see if that sorts it but I suspect it's new timer time.
