The brake light keeps flashing on and off?

I have a ford ka 52 plate and the handbrake light keeps flickering on and off, will brake fluid sort the problem

yes it should do make sure u get the correct type of brake fluid (usually DOT4 or5) it might be the switch in the brake fluid reservoir (the fluid level indicator). it could be the switch on the handbrake (disconnect it and see if it makes a difference).
