Fuel leak through filter 43s?

Can you explain this problem, and give solution
Lee, September 2015
A filter is intended to stop particles passing through but to allow liquid fuel to flow.

If there's a leak from the filter it will be because of a bad joint - gasket - inlet pipe or outlet pipe. Or perhaps a damaged fuel line.

Careful examination might show the way to solve the leak.
