Complete Loss of Power to my Ford Mondeo?

I own a ford Mondeo 1800TD, it has been fine up until this evening, I went to start the car and there is no power at all, the parking light, petrol light and handbrake light all work on the dashboard, but the glowplug light flickers, there is no power whatso ever to turn the car over, the brake lights work and the wipers are moving without me touching the wiper lever but nothing else works not even the horn, we tried to jump start it but to no avail still no luck, any ideas what could be wrong with it?

could be ur glow plug relay sticking on making it flatten ur battery.u could have an earth fault check ur main earth strap from ur engine/g/box to the car body.(quick way to check place 1 end of a piece of wire on the earth of ur battery and the other onto a clean metal part of ur engine if it spark thats ur fault!)
