My window seems to of either come off its hinge or the handle to wind it up and down has gone. Either way, the window is in free fall status, and currently wedged with bits of wood to keep it up. Obviously not very securely. I have take all screws out I can see but can not get the handle off to remove the casing to even have a look to see what the problem is. I have a LDV 400 Convoy 1999. Can anyone help ?

There should be a small wire horseshoe clip at the rear of the handle itself,usually hook a small bit of wire to it and pull but watch it doesn't go flying and lose it
