Can this item be economically repaired?

My Tefal GV7470 Steam generator produces a flow of muddy water instead of steam. The anti-calc valve and the machine itself have been maintained according to instructions. The machine is 2.5 years old.
Is it economical to repair it, or should I just buy a new one?
