Hi,

The top oven-grill element of my diplomat ap4550 has recently been tripping out after five minutes, after initially heating up fine.

How to mend it queried that the element isn't necessarily blown, however it may be defective as the resistance wire is not functioning correctly.

I replaced the grill element for the diplomat AP4550 today, and much to my dismay, the grill is continuing to trip out after five minutes!

Now that a defective element has essentially been ruled out as the cause - is there anything else that i can do to potentially solve the problem?
