my creda auto dry model number 37371 spins but does not heat?

how do find out if its the thermostat or some other problem

Hi John,

For visual reference the thermostats can be seen here:

http://www.ukapplianceparts.com/laundry_models.asp?search_fd17=37371

They are located at the back of the machine behind the rear cover. The only way to test them without just replacing them is to use a continuity meter to confirm that they are open circuit.

It is very likely that this is the problem, but not 100%. The element may be a fault.
