How can I fix my Tefal GV8360 GO23 Pro Express Turbo Anti-Calc Iron?

How can I diagnose and fix a problem with a Tefal GV8360 GO23 Pro Express Turbo Anti-Calc Iron. Steam generator heats water (steam comes out of the anti-calc valve if undone slightly). However the soleplate does not heat up and there is no steam coming from it.

Hi
I have the same problem it maybe there is a fault with the wiring connection. I noticed that when I moved the wire around that the light would come on and the iron would heat up again. These irons can be fixed as I spoken to Tefal. If you have managed to fix let me know as I am trying to fix mine without the added cost.
Good luck

It very probably has two heating elements - the one that drives the steam generator is clearly working - the one for the sole plate probably not.

They do not make irons to be repairable any more.
