As you look at the back of the machine, you'll see a cover on the lower left with loads of srews round the outside. Thats the heater/stat cover.
First though, remove the 2 screws that hold the white small cover in the centre of the machine, then remove the heater cover.
You'll see the back of the thermostats at the top of this cover.
2 smaller screws hols the plate in place.
Carefully remove these and remove the metal housing.
