Hi.I cant find a name on my electric fire,bought 2nd hand with surround.It has 3 bars 13 1/4 inch.there was a screeching noise coming from the front fan,it also has a back fan.oiled both but it still screeched.took the end stud off the lower fan which i think is rubber with a metal bit inside,oiled it,still screeched.reversed the little metal washer thing and it is now silent but stops spinning after a few minutes.I am frightened to use the fire in case it is dangerous if the lower fan is not spinning.

Put the end cap back the right way round,if you look at the fan impeller,is it central in the carcass,make sure there is equal space at each side,if not put a small screwdriver in the narrow end and lever it along the shaft until it is central
