Miele W3241 - hidden programmable function?

Hello. My washing machine Miele Softronic W3241 has a programmable function missing from its available manual http://www.eirvik.is/gogn/L/w3245.pdf After entering programming mode and turning the programming wheel into DelicateIronFree 30 C I can access setting that can be set into options ranging from 1 to 5, but this setting is not mentioned in the manual at all! Its change somehow interferes with the duration of washing, as I found out by saving different settings and checking the displayed washing time in one of programmes. Can anybody tell what function it is and what purpose it serves? Also I would like to ask - is there an undocumented option maybe to MAXIMISE water usage: no matter how much loundry there is in the machine drum and/or an option for use in case of low tap water pressure? Or to turn off the gentle moves option so the rinsing becomes more effective? Thank You a lot in advance.
