polti steam generator iron, iron part not heating?

my polti steam generator iron, has no function from the red light on the iron part, and iron not heating, but the boiler part is working and heating the water ok. Think I heard a POP noise from the iron part before it stopped working. can it be fixed

I have same issue - boiler working, iron switch lighting up but no heat to iron (nor is the iron light on iron handle coming on). Did you get an answer.
