Why do I get a close down message from Windows Explorer?

I have recently updated to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and have noticed that nearly every time I leave a web site I now get a message saying " Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close down" then there is an invitation to send a problem report. I have good firewall and virus protections so I dont think it is some form of intrusion. What is the problem and is there a simple fix?

You DON'T need to instal Mozilla or forefox or anything else. Once you have download the IE7 install file you NEED to completely uninstal IE6 or whatever IE you had previously and then Install IE7 . If you don't do a clean install of IE7 parts of get corrupted . A virus or intrusion isnt causing the Error report but it's always a good idea to run a scan after an install.

IE7 appears to have some incompatibilities with previous versions. If I was you I'd go to www.mozilla.com and download Firefox. Then all your problems with IE will go away - for ever.
