himy engine management light has been on or months,i have a 57 plate astra sport sri hatch and wanted to know which fuse it is that I can take out to make it go off,ive tried disconnecting the neg on the battery but that didn't work,any help would be great thank you

you can`t turn it off,get it onto a code reader,take a note of the fault code,repair the fault,delete the fault code and the light will be off.
