My car died with out waring. That was the timeing belt. It was taken care of. the next day when it was fixed it started to make a knocking noise. and then died on the free way, I was told it was the starter. I got that rebuilt. It still dont want to start. now that they are back in the car. It trys to turn over but just acts like it wants to back fire. It will not stay running. what am i missing?
hi kris, yeah, i agree with anon bud, you need to get your engine re timed up, id take it back to the cowboy who did the mess for you.

i would say whoever replaced your timing belt did,nt set it to top dead centre meaning your pistons are out of since so your engine will miss fire because the timing is not correct.
