Empty it - defrost it - clean it thoroughly - let it air dry with the door open for an hour or so - clean out the drain hole at the back of the cabinet.
Any smell will be coming from the stuff you put into it.
Unless - unless it's a fishy smell in which case check the electrical plug and wall socket.
