My Smeg SUK62MFX5 Cooker main oven is over heating/cooking food. ?

Hi there,

I have Smeg SUK62MFX5 Multi fuel Cooker.
The main oven is over heating/cooking the food & my missus is panicking over xmas dinner!!
Is it likely to be the Thermostat or element?
Or would it be something else?
