Vauxhall astra 2008 reg passenger door wont lock?

Hi all need help brought a car astra 08 however ive just realised that the central locking locks all other doors snd boot all bar the passenger front side door even the central locking inside the car does not lock it any ideas/solutions very welcome thanks
