We can't get the pilot light on the boiler to come back on after switching the boiler off at the mains. The dial for turning the boiler down is broken and comes off but the landlord won't change the boiler. The plumber managed to get the pilot light on the last time but we can't remember how it was done. Any ideas please?

HI had the same problem just before xmas, try turning the boiler on and off a few times and one time the pilot light will stay on.
