Fix Simpson esprit 550 washing machine?

The hose from the machine came out and started flooding the room. I turned the timer knob manually to off, and then because the pipe was behind the machine and I couldn't reach it ( water was still flowing out) I also turned the power off on the wall. Now there is water in the machine and it won't start. I have tried starting it from normal wash and also drain but nothing is happening.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Possibly the lid switch. Sometimes dropping the lid down forcefully will make it start. If not, then lift lid, put your left hand through the gap between top of bowl and the top deck of machine in the right hand rear corner. You will feel the switch lever. On the lever is an adjustment screw, turn it about 1 full turn anti clockwise & try closing the lid and see if it starts.
