I hve a Cannon Gas cooker and all of the hobbs have stopped working the top and lower ovens are working & also the grill is have you any idea what the problem could be?
I have a Cannon Canterbury, the lid seems to be causing the hob to intermittentlly stop or have a very low gas pressure. Is the lid switch an electrical switch or a gas switch ? How can I access it to test it ?

does it have a drop down lid?? if it does then possibly the switch which operates the gas to the hob has stuck or has broken.. it is normally operated by the lid being opened and closed.
