my winding mechanism has broke off can it be fixed?

it is a tavistock and jones alarm clock for the bedside

I think these are electrical (batery) quartz movements and therefore wouldn't have a winder. i think you must be talking about the time set knob.

I doubt this can be economically fixed - or if you can even get parts.

It is probably simplest (and most reliable) to just get a new clock
