Softener section in tray will not disperse/drain?

Softener does not empty from tray during cycle.
Hoover Nextra HNL 842 washing machine.
Hoses and pump/filter are clear. All else working fine. Have unplugged power for prolonged period to permit any programme function to reset.
Any suggestions?

remove thedrawer clean the hole in the softer tray ,you just have a blockage no big deal
