powder latch not releasing?

The powder compartment section is not opening in cycle. Have cleaned around and in it. When i press release manually its springs open no worries. Just not in cycle. What can i do?

Take the door panel off and get at the back of the soap dispensor and have a multimeter to test the release mechanism and also test if power is getting to it. If you can't do that then phone a technician. Nothing else you can do.
