How can i wire my bell box?

Hi
I replaced my scantronic 9450 alarm panel with scantronic 9651.I have got the pirs and door contacts all woking ok.I cannot get the bellbox to work.It is about 25 years old but still looks good and was working properly before i disconnected it.It was installed by an alarm company CSS and the bell has the company logo (CSS) on it so i do not know what make it is.
The way i wired the bell from panel is
Red from 12v aux to + off on bell
Black from OV to - hold on bell
Blue from TR to tamper on bell
Yellow from OP1 to bell on bell
Orange from OP2 to strobe on bell
In the bell there is a resistor between Red + off and Yellow bell.
The two small lights are flashing on the bell as if it is working normally, but it keeps bleeping quietly every few minutes and does not activate with the alarm.
There is also an other connection on the bell marked set but is not wired to anything.
I also notice that the tamper switch has never been wired to any thing by the company originally.
I know this sounds complicated so i hope someone
out there can help.Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks in advance

no bend the lever on the micro switch to make sure when you put the blue cover on the blue button is pressed down by the bell box cover

Now I get it. You are talking about the new box when you are talking about moving and bending switch and white cover.
Confusion over.

ah the panel must be prog for resis in the units,no prob buy new bell box mate only a fool buys a battery for a unit that old he colours dont matter,we all use our own ,long as they go where they must:-)thank you for your reply ,if you fit our bell box you should be ok

Thank you for that gts.I have now got the bell to work and I do need the resistor in otherwise the bell rings continuously when connected up.Although when I took the bell down and wired on the bench next to the panel,it worked without the resistor. I wired it
yellow bell to op1
Orange strobe to op 2
Blue tpr to tamper
Red hold + to auxiliary +

The switch has never been wired to anything,so maybe moving it about might not make any difference.
It still clicking every few minutes but I think that is because the battery in the box needs changing,so I might end up buying another bell,as the battery costs ten to twelve pounds
including delivery and some bells are around twenty five pounds. your thoughts would be appreciated.

dump the resistor not needed

gts, March 2016
there is a clear cover under the blue one,i forgot about that

one more thing on the bell box the anti tamper micro switch has a lever ,you will need to carefully bend it push it a bit back and bend the lever so it takes up any space what i mean is push it up and back to bend it

we use the cqr multi box,now remove power from the panel mains and battery, remove all wires from the bell box on panel put white wire to the strobe connection on the panel, the blue wire to the bell input on the panel the red wire to the pos output on the panel the black wire to the neg output on the panel and finaly the yellow wire on the tamper return on the panel, then do the same in the multi box then all will be fine ,on the multi box fit the little wire from the battery onto the socket in bell box, then fit the blue cover then fit the outer cover, remove the little cap thats stuck to the inside of the cover, this is used to cover the screw that holds cover in place, then reconnect the battery inside panel, close panel lid then turn on mains power ,bobs your uncle, you should see a green and red led flash from side to side ,hope this helps
