Is there a thermal fuse?
Probably the element. Easy enough to check the element is OK when you take the old one out (Even a battery and bulb if you've not got a meter). If you don't understand how to do that, ask yourself whether you are competent to work on electrical items and think about getting a techie in.
Make sure you know how to re-set any clock on the cooker (Whose make/model you didn't bother to mention - but which you'll need to order any spares)
Be safe; isolate power before you start. Take notes as you go, which screws and which screws go where; don't rely on memory.
