Hi Everyone,
My iron button has broken ( pushed in and won't come out!)! Therefore no steam.
I have open ended the iron, but it needs a special tool to fix (? Surprise suprprise), any ideas how to fix it, or cheap repairs in North London please?

Forget a repair cheap or expensive - just buy a new Iron - Amazon sell the Philips Azur for about £40 - a Which Best Buy

You do not mention the make and model of your iron or give any indication about what the special tool might be used for - a sensible answer is unlikely.

The general case is that for safety reasons irons are not repairable - and the manufacturers like it that way.
