The problem started occurring about 6 weeks ago. The machine is two years old:
The washing machine does not empty the contents of the container for fabric softener. At the end of the cycle the contents is still all there.
I prefer using vinegar or course salt, but even commercial softener has remained in the dispenser lately.

start at removing dispensor and check for clogged hole,then check the steel wire running from dispensor to controller
