Ensure you have the correct part for your model
Ensure you know how to reset the clock/timer
Disconnect or otherwise isolate from the mains
Release screws holding old element in place, noting (on paper) which ones go where.
Carefully ease the element out, taking pains not to snag any wires
Release push on or bolt on connectors from element, noting (on paper) which ones go where
Put connectors on new element
Feed cables back from whence they came, being careful not to snag or trap any.
Replace screws and tighten - gently.
Reconnect the cooker or turn on the power
Reset the clock/timer
