Pacific pb-001 heating problem?

My Pacific bread maker pb-001when warming up keeps tripping out the electrics, can anyone give me ideas.

Yes - the heating element is defective - as it gets warm the resistance wire - the bit that gets hot - expands until it touches its outer case and that causes the trip - a safety thing.

Probably either beyond repair or very costly. Consider a new one.
