Is there a turbo on the 75 ps version? If not, fitting a turbo would certainly help. Otherwise, there's the re-mapping option. Do a google search.

Driven a few of these and generally they go quite well and is all you need from a van, if you have turbo/intercooler/hose problems then that would explain your lack of power,if all is ok then I would find another van.
