how to bypass switch Bosch 1021 VSR?

The replacement switch has gone bad, do not want to replace it again. I would like to know which are the connections on the drill to wire from line into drill back for forward only, no need for reverse or variable.

Thanks for the reply and answer. The Reversing mechanism came apart on both, reason why i gave up on switch. Thanks again, Wallace

I have already tried to answer you on this subject but I put up a link derived from Tiny URL which failed to work.

Search using Google for Bosch 1021 VSR
and follow the third link - Powertool Spares

In the top right of the image is a wiring diagram - it shows power coming in to the switch and from there to the motor and motor windings via a reversing switch.

To achieve your somewhat dangerous ambition just connect the mains input to the wires that that are the switch output and jamb the reversing lever permanently in the forward direction .

Your drill will then run at full speed in the forward direction with no control other than from the plug socket.

Alternatively play safe and just fit a new plug and cord - it's very doubtful that you've actually had a bad switch let alone two of them.
