wher do i begin looks to me plate underneath needs to be removed but to do so looks like engin mounts are conected? to remove this plate what does it in volve

Not sure on this but did a Vivaro not long ago which is basically a Renault with a different badge on it, it is very tight between the radiator and front of engine where the starter lies and removed the cooling fan housing for access, this was a later model and think the earlier motors were at the rear next to the turbo and also were quite awkward. Can`t remember removing engine mounts at all. Good luck.
