I have texecom alarm 8 zone with tamper fault,its a texecom panel connected to texecom SAB reading deep into the instruction's the fault is up in the bell box as if I open the panel the tamper light flashes alarm go's off do I have to link out any wires up in the box on installation to get rid of this tamper light being on with this tamper light on cannot ARM panel but can do tests ie test stobe,test alarm box leds alternating normally

Bell box is not the issue mate although just to add i despise this sort of alarm gear 21 years ago veritas were a tolerable panel, didnt mind installing or buying but since 2000 they have tried to modify the panel way to much

Check sensor lids/ window sensors, check door contacts and panel on lid if no luck remove panel lid, loop tamp press the pcb tamper spring if tamper clears ur a winner if fails get a engineer in
