Another good choice would be the elmdene prima 500 never had any problems with them. You can get one from meteor electrical but you would need to search prima 400 on the site and it should come up. They are not cheap tho.

About the novagard 2 the strobe can be dim not always it just depends on the lens colour opal is pretty dim during the day but you will definately notice the bright red comfort leds.

I can tell you nick I have had either a failed strobe or piezo failure when using the flashguard xls and xtra's and ended up ripping them out replacing them.Had the same issue with the texecom oddysey range and pyronix deltabell.

Best bet for you william is the novaguard 2 bright leds the strobe can be a bit dim during the day as its now led but at least the sounders work. Its your best bet everything else is cheap rubbish these days.

Hope this helps

Hi william,

Get yourself a flashguard bell box prefferbly the xl plus believe me you wont go wrong, ive had two flashguards installed since 1995, replaced batteries once 2 years ago, dont be fooled by this cheap tack on the market for example, texecom/ pyronix deta bell, load of cheap crap mate hence the low pricing.
