F2 error...Again?

Hi All,
I have a 6603 F&P dishwasher. F2 error on top drawer came up so replaced the motor and set on a cycle but stopped about 2-3 mins with error F2. I noticed that the metal plate was very warm in the middle and once I lifted this up and plastic around where the motor sits was also very warm. This indicated that the motor was not working and caused the F2 error. Any suggestion what else this could be and what to look for?
Thanks

Hi, Changed the control module from the top to the bottom and worked fine through a cycle. put the bottom one in the top and went through a cycle and seemed to get further (20mins in) and then F2 error appeared. Hall sensor is next but not sure how to check/replace?

Hi, Thanks for the update. When you say check the motor is free to turn by hand which it is is there anyway to confirm this once the motor rotor is seated in the correct position? I can move the rotor blades freely. I will check the control module and swap them over to see if fault displays in the bottom drawer. Will feedback once this has been performed.
Many Thanks

1.Foreign object has jammed the rotor
 2.The rotor has failed
 3.The hall sensor has failed
 4.The electronic controller has failed
This from the F&P service manual for F2 fault.
So if rotor is free to turn by hand (check it and if not then find out why) and we know rotor is new, then it only leaves hall sensor or control module fault. I would swap the control module over from lower drawer and see if fault now appears on lower drawer that would confirm if it was the control board. The heater plate is around the plastic motor cover that may be why it was warm to touch.

hi,
Thanks for the response. I replaced the motor rotor part no:524185P. As a test i swapped the motor rotor from the bottom drawer into the top drawer and F2 error is still displayed. The new motor rotor from the top drawer works fine in the bottom drawer. I used this link to replace in the top drawer.

Exactly what did you replace? The Rotor or the Motor?. These machines seem to need frequent Rotor replacements but it could be worth checking the Motor is free to turn as well.
