How do I replace fan oven element in my Leisure Rangemaster 110 cooker?

The fan in the oven runs as son as a temperature is set on the thermostat but the oven does not heat up. How do I remove the element to replace it?

Make sure you know how to reset the time clock (RTFM)

Make notes on paper of what bits, screws and wires go where. (Don't rely on memory - even use a camera)

Switch the power to the cooker off at the fusebox and at any isolator

Probably remove the tray supports from inside the oven, the back of the oven.

There will probably be 1 or 2 screws holding the element in, plus 2 or 3 more holding support brackets in place.

Undo these, carefully pull off the push-on connectors (or undo bolt-on connectors) from the back of the element.

Reassembly is pretty much the reverse of the above.

take care not to trap any wires under bits you screw back on.

Don't overtighten the pathetic little self-tap screws that go into thin sheet metal bits.

Power on, Reset the time clock and test the oven.
