have a gc 135 4 hp honda that lost fire put new coil but still want fire?

set the coil to 5 thousands and still have no fire

If the kill switch is open circuit it will not prevent starting but you may not be able to stop it.

Some Honda engines have an oil level detector which operates the kill switch when the level is too low. Check the dip switch.

Jacko NZ, December 2016
The coil circuit is grounded via the kill switch to make it operate and produce sparks - if the switch is bad or a wire has come adrift then there will be no sparks and no firing.

Consider that you may have a fault in the kill switch circuit and that it may be open circuit.
